Посетили мы столицу Венгрии в середине октября. Хотя погода нам не поспособствовала, это не испортило нам приятных долгих прогулок по самым интересным местам (а их в Будапеште достаточно!), а также по неизвестным улочкам и популярным заведениям!
Будапешт прекрасен его мостами, стариной, духом истории! Этот город превращается во что-то особо неземное вечером!
We have visited the Hungarian capital in the mid-October. Although the weather wasn't so nice, it did not spoil our pleasant long walks through the most interesting places (which are enough in Budapest!), and through the unknown streets and popular venues!
Budapest is beautiful with its bridges, antiquity and the spirit of history! The city is transformed into something very ethereal in the evening!
Как вы наверняка знаете город образовался в 1873 году в результате слияния нескольких венгерских городов: Пешта, расположенного на восточной стороне реки Дунай, Буды и Обуды, занимающих западный берег Дуная.
Так вот все основные местечки находятся в Пеште.
Буквально в первые пару дней мы обошли практически все достопримечательности! Сначала даже не верилось, что за день могли пройти до 20 км и даже не замечали этого расстояния! :)
Поселились мы в самом центре города с видом на Дунай, поэтому общественный транспорт нам был не к чему.
As you probably know Budapest became a single city occupying both banks of the river Danube with the unification of Buda and Óbuda on the west bank, with Pest on the east bank on 17 November 1873.
So all the major places are located on the Pest side.
Literally in the first couple of days we walked almost all the sights! At first we couldn't believe that a day we might walk up to 20 km and didn't even notice that distance! :) We stayed in the heart of the city overlooking the Danube, so we had no need of usage the public transportation.
Остальные дни стали похожи на гонку по самым интересным заведениям Будапешта! Хотелось прочувствовать этот город изнутри. Так что Tripadvisor стал нашим первым помощником!
А вообще хотелось бы заметить, что этот город пронизан историей в каждой детали!
А еще наверное мои очень далекие предки все-таки были венграми:) Мемориалы, соборы и улицы в честь короля Матяша просто кричат об этом почти на каждом шагу! :)
The rest of the days were like the race through most interesting restaurants and locals of Budapest! We wanted to experience the city from within. So Tripadvisor was our first assistant!
In general, I would like to note that this city is permeated with history in every detail!
And perhaps my very distant ancestors nevertheless were Hungarians :) Memorials, Churches and Streets after King Matthias just scream about it almost at almost every step! :)
